Virtus Pro pull out of ESWC

The Polish team have revealed the reasons behind their decision to not attend this year's ESWC set to take place in Montreal, Canada.

After a lot of rumors surrounding the reason behind their decision to not attend the tournament, Virtus.pro have just revealed what was the main reason for pulling out of the event which will take place in Montreal, Canada, from July 9-12.

A long time member of the team Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas will be unable to travel to the event due to his wedding. The organisation has announced that the team decided to pull out as they didn't want to play with a stand-in and would rather support their teammate and a friend in the most important day of his life.

TaZ also decided to issue a statement on this topic:

Hey, yes the information about my wedding taking place on 11th of July is true. This is the reason why our team won't be able to attend ESWC 2015 in Montreal. Team is like family to me, and I was extremely happy that they decided to skip this event, even with a standin, to attend my wedding. After that we will be back to business for whole busy month, but just before that we will go to ESL ESEA LAN finals, so lets hope that we will have more reasons to celebrate.”
