NA tournaments review: The dust settles

We are back with the weekly ongoing tournaments review and we will take a closer look at the events featuring the North American teams.

ESL ESEA Pro League - $500,000

Cloud9 and Keyd Stars are still going strong in the ESL ESEA Pro league, both doing well with an impressive fourteen wins a piece, netting both of them forty two points in the bracket. Moving down the ladder, Luminosity, Nihlium, and CLG are relativly even, with all three of these teams hovering around the eleven win mark.

Moving to the bottom, Method, mouseSpaz, and Ace Gaming still haven't managed to get anywhere in this league: all three teams have managed to scrape only two wins each out of seventeen matches played, and in the case of Method, fifteen.

CEVO Season 7 - $135,000

The initial mayhem has subsided in the CEVO Professional division, with most of the teams beginning to find their place in the ladder. Not much has changed over the last week, as the three top teams competing (Luminosity, Counter Logic Gaming, and Cloud9) have retained their previous spots on top. However, Cloud9 is behind three matches from the other two weeks, so it is yet to be seen what their final position will be.

Team Liquid are still putting up mediocre results against their competition, currently sitting at four wins, one draw and two losses; notably, one of those losses was to Tempo Storm, who 2:0'd Liquid in a brutal best of three.
