Cloud9 announced their invitation from ESWC to compete next month in the ESWC Montreal 2015 competition today on their twitter page. The team failed to win the North American qualifier, losing in the best-of-three series to winners Team Liquid in a match that had a series of issues, including a DDoS attack on Ryan 'freakazoid' Adir during the third and deciding map.

The team applied for a wild card invitation with ESWC and were granted the invite today for the $75,000 tournament that will take place from July 9-12.
