The initial day of Fragbite Masters Season 4 LAN finals was opened with with a number of unexpected delays. The PC issues caused the matches to go deep into the night where the Swedes managed to come out on the top and to secure the ticket for the grand finals. This means that Fnatic will have a chance to defend their title from the previous season.

The day started with the match between Natus Vincere and Fnatic. Although Fnatic have came to this event as title defenders, Natus Vincere were still the higher seeded team due to qualifying through the upper bracket of the online playoffs. With the recent form of Na'Vi, everyone was looking forward to this duel and the possible outcome. The initial map was de_dust2, Na'Vi's map of choice where they didn't really manage to get a good start. Fnatic snowballed, winning 12 rounds on T side which was more than they actually hoped for. Later on, Na'Vi have actually put a good resistance but Fnatic still managed to close this map with 16-13. The next map was Fnatic's pick, de_cobblestone. We saw once again a great T side by Fnatic where the Ukranian defense was broken. Fnatic took this map with 16-11 for the final 2-0 in this best-of-three match.

The next in line were Team Solomid and HellRaisers. The first map, de_mirage, was totally one sided. We saw TSM playing a flawless CT side where they managed to take 14 rounds. However, HR managed to take 5 more rounds before the map was closed by TSM with 16-6. The second map was much more entertaining as we saw the overtime. The both teams had a weak CT side, 8-7, which led to the overtime. HellRaisers were actually on the match point but the Danish guy managed to get back and to actually take this match through the overtime.

Following their 2-0 wins in the opening matches, Fnatic and Team Solomid had now to fight for the place in the grand finals. Continuing the tradition from the opening matches, we saw once again a very good T sides of both teams. First to open the match on T side were TSM guys. They won 9 rounds which have put Fnatic to an tight situation as they were moving on to the less favored T side of this map. However, pronax and co. once again managed to find the way out and to take the full control of this match. Fnatic were even closer to the win, but TSM made a comeback for the overtime and a win through the additional rounds of this map. The second map, de_cache, saw unleashed Fnatic who just stomped TSM 16-8(11-4) and prolongued this match to the next map. The third and final map had a totally same scenario as the previous one. It looked like Fnatic just repeated the same play from cache on inferno as they won Ct side with 11-4 and closed the map with 16-8. This brought them a spot in the grand finals, while TSM will have to battle it out through the lower bracket against the winner of HellRaisers/Na'Vi match up for the second spot in the finals.

Schedule for Day 2:
13.00 CEST - Natus Vincere vs HellRaisers - Bo3
16.30 CEST - Lower bracket finals - Bo3
20.00 CEST - Grand finals - Bo5
