EU tournaments review: TSM taking the lead

We are back with the weekly ongoing tournaments review and we will take a closer look at the events featuring the European teams.

ESL ESEA Pro League - $500,000

Following the scores of this week we can see Team Solomid climbing their way up to the top leaving everyone behind. The Danish team have only lost to Titan which brought them a huge boost on the standings table. They are currently followed by the French side, Team EnVyUs who have one victory and one match less which can put them into the tied position with TSM. Besides the top two teams, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Fnatic and Natus Vincere are still one or two wins away from the first place which makes this event a really interesting.

CEVO Season 7 - $135,000

Nothing new at the CEVO standings as they are still topped by Virtus.pro who have so far played the most matches in the league. The Swedish side, Ninjas in Pyjamas are the real threat for the Poles as they are down only one victory and 4 points from them. However, they got three matches less so we will see how will the table look like once these matches are played. Moreover, we can see that Mousesports, Gamers2 and HellRaisers are starting to move up on the standings leaving the rest of the teams behind them and trying to build up a nice stash of the points for the finals. Team Solomid have yet to play their first CEVO match.

SLTV StarSeries XIII - $68,000

The first group stage of the StarSeries XIII has finished and the top eight teams have moved on to the second group stage. This time we will see them distributed into the two groups which will use the same GSL format. They will be fighting for the six slots at the LAN finals. Natus Vincere and Team EnVyUs are the clear favourites in their groups, but we saw that in this tournament upsets are very common so the results will speak for themselves.

Counter Pit League - $50,000

The curse has finally got broken in the CounterPit league. After a series of the draw results we could finally see a victory. Natus Vincere took the initiative in the group A following their double victory over Dignitas and Gamers2. On the other side, EnVyUs scored their first victory and they are currently leading in the group B.

Fragbite Masters Season 4 - $71,000

Everything is settled for the LAN finals which will be held during this weekend. The top four teams who will be fighting for the lion's share of the $68,000 are Natus Vincere, Team Solomid, Fnatic and HellRaisers. The opening match will be very interesting as it will feature a duel between Na'Vi and Fnatic. The other semi final pair will see TSM taking on HellRaisers. The format is set to double-elimination bracket, so we will see a very entertaining battle in Stockholm during this weekend.
