Ninjas in Pyjamas takes down Team Solomid to round up the list of participating teams in semi finals.

In the series which featured a re-match of last year's semi finals in Katowice, we saw see Ninjas in Pyjamas battling against Team Solomid. By looking at the other quarter final pairs, the odds were saying that this one would be the closest because both teams have a similiar play-style. The Swedish team decided to pick de_dust2, while the Danish side went for de_inferno. NiP had advantage if the match would go in the third map as it was decided to be de_nuke and they got a CT-side to start on.
Team Solomid picked CT-side to start on at de_dust2, as this was a NiP's map of choice. NiP opened the match by taking a pistol round and scoring round after round, showing no mercy. TSM needed a few rounds to actually put it up together win their very first one in this match. By that time it was already too late for them, as the economy of their team was broken and they were mainly taking a risks of buying a 'glass canons' and not retaking the lost bomb sites. The whole NiP's team was performing really well and the big lead of 11-4 at the end of the first half was well earned. TSM tried getting back into the match by winning the second pistol round of this map, however they couldn't move any far as NiP didn't really allowed them to. The final score was 16-8 for NiP.
If NiP was dominant on dust2 then TSM was even more dominant on de_inferno. The Danish team showed why they picked this map in the first place. Although they started on T-side, TSM still succeeded to obtrude with their play against the Swedes and had complete control of the match. The kills on the scoreboard were spread evenly to all Danish players which shows how good they performed together as a team. The half time score was 11-4 and the second half just brought 5 more rounds to round up it 16-4 for TSM.
We couldn't ask for a better finisher than the one we had on de_nuke. Although NiP had a slight advantage starting on CT side, the Danish boys showed why they are in top 8 by pushing down the Swedes and taking 6 rounds on T side without winning even winning the pistol round. With the 6-9 scoreline and moving on to CT side it really looked like TSM's game, however GeT_RiGhT excelled once again and played a big role in the second round of the second half, winning it with tec9 and giving his team space to breath. TSM quickly brought this game back to a tie at 12-12, and NiP was trying to get something out from their next full buy round. The defense was broken and together with a bit of luck, NiP managed to put the bomb down in the last second to clutch a round for 13-12. TSM had no choice but to force buy every round until the end and the final score was 16-12 for NiP as they are the last team to qualify for semi finals.
