A very interesting match was seen in the duel between HellRaisers and Counter Logic Gaming. The game was played on de_nuke which known for being a heavily one sided map. HellRaisers started off this match in a great fashion making it 13-2 for them at CT side. They were looking into winning the pistol round of the second half and finishing this match early. However, the North American team denied them as they won a pistol round and 12 more rounds which followed for 13-15. At this point HellRaisers finally managed to break down CLG's defense and to score their first round at T side, but it was already too late as the NA side had the game under their control. The final score was 16-14 for CLG.
In the other match of this group we saw one of the favorites of the tournament, Ninjas in Pyjamas taking on the Brazilian team, Keyd Stars. They played their match on de_inferno where NiP kicked off on T side. The Swedes didn't really struggle much as they had a huge lead at the end of the first half on T side, 13-2. The second half brought a more balanced match, where Keyd Stars finally managed to win some rounds, but in the end NiP closed it with 16-9.
