Natus Vincere claimed the last spot for StarLadder StarSeries XII LAN finals. The Ukrainian team went through the Last Change qualifier defeating four opponents to reserve their ticket to Kiev.

The twelfth season of StarLadder's StarSeries brought a completely new format where we could see teams going through double group stages followed up by the playoffs and lastly one more bracket called Last Change qualifier.
The four lan finalists were already qualified after the second stage of the tournament. Team EnVyUs, Titan, Virtus.pro and Team Solomid were the first four to secure their tickets for the CyberArena in Kiev. The next team was Swedish juggernauts Ninjas in Pyjamas, winning the Play-off Qualification. This left only one more spot and seven teams left to compete for it.
The Last Change qualifier was built so that the team which lost in Playoff Qualifications had the highest seed which means that FlipSid3 Tactics were placed directly in the final of this bracket. The semi-finalists of Playoff Qualifications, HellRaisers and CPH Wolves also received a higher seed and they started off in Round Two.
Natus Vincere and Gplay took the wins in Round One and moved on to the second round. The Bulgarian team couldnt muster up another upset as they were eliminated by HellRaisers, while CPH Wolves could only take one map away from Na'Vi who managed to make it through this round as well. The semi-finals of this bracket were really interesting as we saw two two top eight finishers of DH Winter fighting for the spot in the finals.
Na'Vi took the first map without much hassle, however the second map de_cache went into triple overtime and had some heart-breaking moments. Finally this thriller went into Na'Vi's hands as they took the 2-0 win. In the last match of this bracket, Na'Vi and FlipSid3 evaporated spears for the last spot in the LAN finals. The first map extended to overtime where Na'Vi was better and they went into the second map with a 1-0 lead. The second map, de_inferno, went really smooth for GuardiaN and co. as they had almost a perfect CT side of 13-2 and an easy finisher for 16-2.
