The finalists of ESEA Season 17 are known. Four teams from Europe and North American will meet on November 21st, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Dallas, to battle out for the share of $47,500.
The North American edition of league play has been a very interesting round robin where the champion of the last two seasons iBuyPower came out on top with the score of 13-3 where two of their three loses were forfeit. The other three teams, eLevate, Cloud9, and Denial finished with a three way tie at 11 wins and 5 losses.
In Europe, Fnatic were supreme getting 15 wins and only one loss, which was at the hands of mousesports. The french team, Titan has also qualified for the event even though they have had a recent roster change. Team Dignitas and mouseports are the other two teams from Europe that secured an invite for the lan finals.
The LAN event will once again take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Dallas. The event will commence on Friday, November 21st and is scheduled to conclude on November 23rd. However, there is a possibility that the event will be rescheduled until after Dreamhack Winter 2014. The event is primarily funded by ESEA subscriptions, and has a prize pool of $47,500.
