Brazilian ESWC team to relinquish their organization

KaBuM! eSports and their CS:GO Division have split, the team will now play under Games Academy.

For undisclosed reasons, KaBuM! eSports's now former CS:GO team have left their organization. Just a few days ago they were announced as one of the teams to attend this year's ESWC though an invitation. The Brazilian squad has decided to play under the Games Academy name, which is more known as one of Brazil's eSports news sites, rather than a full fledged team organization. The team is now looking to raise money in order to meet the funds required to travel all the way to Paris for ESWC.

Games Academy is an interesting team, as they play both CS:GO as well as Crossfire, although they look like they are start to shift into CS:GO full time, as their roots are in 1.6 play. Brazil as a region is more predominantly focused on Crossfire and Assaultfire, as there is significantly more money injected into their tournaments. However, it looks like ESEA has a foothold in that region already, as they do have their trademark pug service setup and host regular events such as "Boltcamps" that are hosted with Games Academy itself, so there is a definite potential for Brazilian Counterstrike to make a comeback.

Translated statement taken from FalleN's Facebook page:

"... from today we are no longer playing for KaBuM. They were very important to our growth, especially in April when we needed to be held and they were the ones who opened the doors for us. We won everything we played in the class organization, in more than a FPS. For now we play with GA [Games Academy] and chase new opportunities! Thank you to KaBuM and everyone who follows us!" - FalleN

Games Academy will now have the following Roster:

Brazil Gabriel "FaleN" Toledo
Brazil Lincoln "fnx" Lau
Brazil Fernando "
fer" Alvarenga
Brazil Henrique "hen1" Teles
Brazil Lucas "
