Clove boasts 52.4% in terms of win percentage weeks after they were released.
The newest addition to the VALORANT agent roster is Clove. The Scottish agent featured a unique kit for a Controller. The self-heal and self-revive abilities positioned the agent in the grey area between a support and a fragger.
Unlike the previous agents Iso and Gekko, Clove’s abilities initially felt overpowering for a Controller. The post-death smokes are definitely a game-changer.
The community welcomed the new agent with a pleasant reception. The pick rate of Clove immediately spiked in both normal and ranked matches. Many players deemed it as a dream agent for people who are flexible in their picks and always end up playing the Controller role. With Clove, players can definitely frag and support at the same time.

Pick-me-up (C)
ACTIVATE to absorb the life force of a fallen enemy that Clove damaged or killed, gaining haste and temporary health.
Meddle (Q)
EQUIP a fragment of immortality essence. FIRE to throw the fragment, which erupts after a short delay and temporarily Decays all targets caught inside.
Ruse (E)
EQUIP a view of the battlefield. FIRE to set the locations where Clove’s clouds will settle. ALT FIRE to confirm, launching clouds that block vision in the chosen areas. Clove can use this ability after death.
Not Dead Yet (X)
After dying, ACTIVATE to resurrect. Once resurrected, Clove must earn a kill or a damaging assist within a set time or they will die. REACTIVATE to cancel early.
As expected, Clove dominates the charts in pub matches. With a 52.4 win percentage, the agent outranks every other VALORANT agent. Reyna remains the highest pick rate with 11.1% and ranked second in terms of win percentage.
Clove is also the first non-binary agent with they/them pronouns. Non-binary is an umbrella term for gender identities that are not male or female. People who identify as non-binary see themselves as both male and female or neither male nor female.
