The new team will be competing as Team Liquid Brazil at the VCT Game Changers.
Team Liquid has announced that they have signed on a new roster consisting of all-women players for the upcoming Brazilian VCT Game Changers season. The team was formerly from the Gamelanders Purple team, who dominated the previous Brazilian Game Changers circuit last year.
The new roster consists of:
Ana Beatriz “Naxy” Gomes- Paola “drn” Caroline
Paula “bstrdd” Nagiul- Natália “Daiki” Vilela
- Natália “nat1” Meneses
With their previous team, the roster won 13 tournaments that included Evolução, Protocolo: Gêneses, and Copa Rakin Season 2, as well as two Top 32 finishes at the VCT 2021 Brazil Stage Two Challengers Open Qualifiers.
Coaching the team will be Felipe “Katraka” Carvajal.

The announcement is on the back of the announcement that Game Changers is getting an international LAN event this year. The signing of the new team bodes well for the game as more players are included in the community, especially for the women and marginalized genders.
The inclusion of this segment of the market is on the rise – Riot Games was the first to officially back a tournament circuit for women and marginalized genders with the Game Changers. Recently CS:GO announced their own initiative called GGFORALL, organized by ESL. But as we explored, that initiative is not as warmly received as the Game Changers.
With the new signing, we may see more big-name teams expand their roster with all-women and/or marginalized genders and create a safe space for them to play their favourite games.
