Playerunknown's Battlegrounds launched on Xbox One last week in the Game Preview program and it was a fast hit, attracting an over one million players in its first 48 hours. However, the game had its issues in its move to console: constant frame-rate drops in critical situations are just few examples of the said performance issues.
PUBG has received its first patch for the Xbox Game Preview yesterday at 4am EST. In the patch, anti-aliasing is slightly improved and here were visual and performance improvements.
The patch resolves some other bugs. Of note, when riding a motorcycle, the controls are no longer inverted. A squad leader leaving a party also could disable party chat; it has been fixed as well.
There are other fixes and improvements called out in the patch such as addressing arm animations specific to holding some weapons and adjusted hair color options. They also tweaked minor animation while crouching and prone. Moreover, the issue where players could lean out of vehicles even when obstructed is already fixed.
These fixes were notably been putted in the PUBG's first Xbox patch for the bugs were console-specific. Players can remember that some of the fixes were already tweaked in the PC. Most of bugs in the game could just be seen in the Xbox and not on PC anymore, that's why the patch were meant for the console.
Are these fixes really fixed the performance of the game in Xbox? Share us your thoughts in the comments below.
