The seasonal event as teased last week is now live! Welcome to the Uprising, come and revisit Overwatch's glorious past.
Only two months ago Overwatch's Year of the Rooster-event concluded, but the developers are putting in the hours to keep the Overwatch experience fresh and the rewards diverse. This time around, Blizzard has promised to dive deeper into the lore of the universe.

This event will feature over 100 collectibles. Some more than others will be related to the Overwatch history as told in the UPRISING comic. Furthermore, we got another PvE gamemode, after Dr. Junkenstein's Revenge was such a success. The temporary brawl mode will let you experience Tracer's first official mission as part of Overwatch, in a time when King's Row was swarmed with rogue Omnic forces. You will get to play as one of the original Overwatch members (Reinhardt, Mercy, Torbjörn, Tracer) if you play the default mode, but you can also start a server opening up all heroes.
The abovementioned heroes get the classic Overwatch blue outfits as shown before. The one we are already saving up for is a different one however:
