A new patch is now live on the Public Test Realm. This update includes a bunch of bug fixes and class tuning, but also a long sought after addition: the custom games pause button.
The community asks, Blizzard listens. (Most of the time.) The update that just went live on the PTR features some of the changes you’ve been asking for. One of these changes was in fact the ability to pause custom games. The lack of this feature has made tournaments a bit iffy when it comes to for example a disconnected player, but we have no received this important feature just in time for the conclusion of the Overwatch Open.
Custom games got a bit more love in the recent patch as well, with editable team names and some additional spectator options.
Some other neat things added in the patch is a reworked player profile page:
And the in game Top 500 leaderboard, that was promised a while ago and is now available for all to see inside the actual game:
Some of the other changes include
:
- Ana’s Nano Boost cost has been increased by 20%
- Ana’s Biotic Grenade radius has been increased from 3 to 4 meters
- Widowmaker’s Widow’s Kiss scoping-in animation time has been reduced from 0.5 to 0.3 seconds
- Junkrat’s RIP-Tire ability now activates more quickly
You can see all the changes here. And if you're even more curious, you can always try out the changes yourself on the PTR!
