Partnering with Battlefly, the London based PC manufacturer intends to kick off their tournament series on Friday with a $5,000 prize pool.
Dino PC has decided to set up their own Overwatch event. The tournament is open for any UK team that wants to participate. With a decent prize pool and LAN finals, it may help to stimulate the UK eSports scene, which has been in a bit of a lull. A total of 32 spots are available, and with the event starting this Friday teams might want to quickly finish their registration.
The tournament will feature the standard ruleset, with a map pick/ban phase and a one hero limit. The 32 teams will play in 8 groups of 4 on September 23rd, with the top 2 from each group moving on to the second day of matches. On September 30th, the remaining 16 teams will enter the bracket stage and be narrowed down to 2, which will play the LAN finals at the Dino PC HQ in London on October 8th.

Grassroots and smaller events such as this will help to foster talent in burgeoning scenes and make the game more popular.
