After fighting for almost 20 years in their long running comic strip, the Penny Arcade founders have decided to do battle for real in Overwatch this weekend. The winner walks away with the legendary penny arcade watch, the loser walks away ashamed and friendless.
Fans of Overwatch are going to have a busy weekend at PAX East with free play sessions open to the public and an open tournament. For most people, the game hasn't been playable yet, but PAX will provide the opportunity to both play the game and get casted by some scene veterans in the form of:
The headlining event, however, is a showmatch between the storied festival's co-founders: Jerry "Tycho Brahe" Holkins and Mike "Jonathan Gabe" Krahulik. The Penny Arcade pair are set to do battle over the legendary watch from their long running comic strip. To complete their individual rosters, Tycho and Gabe have recruited a variety of sharpshooters among their (work)friends.

The rivalry between the two promises to make this a match worth watching; if nothing else we can expect the standard PAX shenanigans. The trio of casters will also be available to cast this show match, but we are hoping for some in-game commentary from the players themselves as well. Will the teams be familiar with the meta compositions, or will we see a lot of Bastions and Mei's? We can hardly wait to find out!
