Cloud9 signs top Overwatch team
One of eSports most valued and respected organizations Cloud9 has picked up North Americas top Overwatch team Googleme (offical article found here). Googleme is a team that has had remarkable results in every tournament they have participated since the closed beta reopened on Febraury 9th. With a few first place and second place finishes in our own GosuGamers Weeklies climbing to #2 in our rankings
The teams Roster consist of:
- Kyle "KyKy" Sounder
- Greg "Grego" McAllen
- Lane "Surefour" Roberts
- Adam "Adam" Eckel
- Derrick "reaver" Nowicki
- Keven "deBett" deBettencourt
Cloud 9 has won 10 of their last 12 sets only dropping to the European top team, IDDQD and the once top North American team, Envyus. Cloud9's most recent victory comes over a dominating 3-0 win over Reunited in the finals of our last GosuGamers NA weekly. Showing outstanding Genji play from Surefour and great Zenyatta play by their support player Adam.
We cannot wait to see what comes of Cloud9 in the future, They are a team that not only has seasonded FPS players but also has players that exceled at other genres suchs as Mobas and MMO's. If there's going to be one team to watch its for sure going to be Cloud9.
