Overwatch rumoured to cost $60, possibly coming to PS4 and Xbox One as well

In a internal document from GameStop, details were found on a physical Overwatch edition for PC as well as PS4 and Xbox One.

In what seems like peculiar timing, evidence has supposedly popped up on Overwatch's business model as well as plans to start selling console versions. It seems like someone decided the day before BlizzCon would be perfect timing to share this valuable information with the world.

According to GameStop, fans will be able to buy physical copies of Overwatch for $59.99 USD for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. This would confirm that Overwatch is not going to follow the same business model as Heroes of the Storm or Hearthstone, but rather follow the path that StarCraft has historically followed.

However, this is still not certain. Heroes of the Storm for instance has been purchasable in stores since April. The so-called Heroes of the Storm Starter Pack costs $19.99 USD and is essentially a DLC package, consisting of heroes as well as skins. Heroes of the Storm is of course, and will probably always stay, a Free to Play title.

The major difference in pricing is a hint that the Overwatch release will actually be the full game, and not just a bundle of heroes and skins, but this cannot be confirmed at this moment. More information will surely follow during BlizzCon.
