Their Secret Histories takes players to Vyrium with two new Agents, free outfits, new events, and a long list of game updates.
It seems like time has flown too quickly because Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2 is arriving in two weeks! Before the new version drops, HoYoverse has revealed what players can expect from the game during the ZZZ livestream on Friday (28 August).
Version 3.2, titled “Their Secret Histories”, focuses on Vyrium and Flint Workshop. The upcoming version will also introduce Claret and Roxy from the Flint Workshop faction, alongside an entirely new specialty, Armourer. New rewards, outfits, events, and game improvements were also revealed during the livestream.
Redemption Code for Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2 livestream
Before we jump into the details, here's the Redemption Code for Version 3.2:

What’s the story in Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2?
Version 3.2 takes the story to Vyrium, home of Flint Workshop and the only place in the world where Porcelloy is produced. Phaethon is already visiting Vyrium to continue their treatment, but soon gets pulled into an investigation after a shipment of Porcelloy is intercepted from one of Flint Workshop's transfer stations.

The case appears to go much deeper than a simple theft. Clues will connect the investigation to Helios Academy, while both an “old friend” and a mysterious “old classmate” are expected to surface in Vyrium. Claret has also been investigating Porcelloy discovered within Girtablullu's remains, which led to the discovery of a research facility.
Perhaps the most intriguing part of Their Secret Histories, however, is its focus on the Sunbringers. Claret and Roxy grew up around Roscaelifer's three current Lady Sunbringers, and Claret admits she has long suspected Lindverne is hiding something important from her.
What is the Armourer specialty in Zenless Zone Zero?

Version 3.2 introduces Armourer, an entirely new Agent specialty built around dealing heavy damage while balancing offensive and defensive stats.
Armourer Agents introduce several new combat mechanics:
- Gash can be accumulated on enemies, with up to three stacks at a time.
- Certain attacks consume Gash to trigger Maim, which deals additional damage and provides combat buffs.
- Multi-CRITs allow Armourers to benefit from CRIT Rate beyond 100%. Once CRIT Rate exceeds 100%, the first critical hit is guaranteed, while excess CRIT Rate provides a chance to land another.
- Armourer critical hits use Laceration DMG instead of the usual CRIT DMG calculation.
- Armourer Agents use Sharpness instead of a standard Energy gauge for Special Attacks.
- They also gain Counter Assist, a Support Skill that can contest certain enemy Control Skills. Winning the clash cancels the Control Skill and knocks the enemy back.
Claret will be Version 3.2's first Armourer Agent and was used during the livestream to demonstrate how the new specialty works.
Who is Claret in Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2?

Claret Flint is an S-Rank Electric Armourer Agent, head of the Flint family, and Director of Flint Workshop. Her family has spent generations refining the craft of forging Porcelloy, giving Flint Workshop an important role in Roscaelifer.
She also has a direct connection to Phaethon, having provided a substantial amount of Porcelloy towards their treatment. Roxy works as one of her assistants, although the two have known each other since childhood.
How do you play Claret in Zenless Zone Zero?
Claret's gameplay revolves around applying Gash, converting those stacks into Maim, and taking advantage of the resulting Laceration DMG buffs.
She can enter Blood Axe form, giving some of her skills higher damage and opening up alternate attacks. Once an enemy has Gash, Claret can use her Special Attack to consume it and trigger Maim. Holding Special Attack against an enemy carrying multiple Gash stacks instead unleashes a longer series of slashes that can repeatedly consume Gash.
Her kit also allows her to weave Perfect Dodges and aerial attacks into her combos. In practice, players will want to build Gash with Claret, use a Stun teammate when needed to create an opening, then bring her back in to consume those stacks and finish with her Ultimate for burst damage.
Unlike most damage dealers, Claret's attacks scale from DEF rather than ATK, while CRIT Rate is particularly important because of the Armourer specialty's multi-CRIT mechanic.

Claret and her signature W-Engine, Crimson Thirst, will be obtainable during the first half of Version 3.2's Signal Search. Nangong Yu's banner will also receive a rerun alongside her signature W-Engine, Neon Fantasies.
Who is Roxy in Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2?

Roxy is an S-Rank Wind Stun Agent and a smith at Flint Workshop. She serves as one of Claret's assistants and appears to be the one Claret relies on the most, even if Roxy is more than happy to remind her that she has plenty of other assistants.
Her combat style focuses on controlling the battlefield with tornadoes and grouping enemies together for the rest of the squad.
How do you play Roxy in Zenless Zone Zero?
Roxy uses her EX Special Attack to create a mobile tornado that can be moved around the battlefield while gathering enemies. Doing so builds Wind Energy.

When the tornado ends, Roxy consumes that Wind Energy to create an Eye of the Storm. Building and detonating enough Eyes of the Storm can trigger additional heavy attacks and eventually summon another powerful tornado. Her Ultimate creates several tornadoes across a wide area in front of her.
Her role is relatively straightforward: group enemies, build Stun opportunities, and create openings for the team's main damage dealer. The livestream demonstrated Roxy working particularly well with Claret, gathering enemies before switching back to Claret for her Special Attack and Ultimate.

Roxy and her signature W-Engine, Crimson Moon Casket, will be obtainable during the second half of Version 3.2's Signal Search. Promeia's banner will also return alongside her signature W-Engine, Frostfall Sickle.
What are the Login rewards for Version 3.2?
The regular Zenless Zone Zero check-in event will return in Version 3.2, giving players up to 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons for logging in during the event period. There will also be a separate 14-day check-in tied to the new Angels of Delusion outfits.
How to get free Angels of Delusion outfits

HoYoverse is giving away special Angels of Delusion outfits through events spanning Versions 3.2 and 3.3. For Version 3.2, the 14-day Surprise Screening Plan check-in event will let players choose one Angels of Delusion outfit after completing the required daily check-ins. The event will also reward Polychromes, avatars, Ether Batteries, and other items.
Players can also earn an Angels of Delusion outfit through the new pinball event by completing all stages in Challenge Mode and claiming the reward through the Angels Support Operation event page.
Events in Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2
Version 3.2 also comes with several limited-time activities in Roscaelifer and New Eridu, ranging from pinball and virtual pets to detective work and combat challenges.
Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight!

Kahkiboo of Chic Bootique is turning his lessons on aesthetics into a pinball game. Players will control a paddle and launch pinballs against waves of enemies, while making use of different mechanisms and items around the field. Meeting different Agents will also unlock unique pinballs based on them, each with its own skill.
Rewards include:
- Polychromes
- Hamster Cage Pass
- New Protagonist accessories
- An Angels of Delusion outfit after completing all Challenge Mode stages
Diary of an Orbie Parent
The Orbie-volution game console is apparently the latest craze in Roscaelifer, and Phaethon will get one of their own in Version 3.2. Players can earn food by logging in daily or spending Battery Charge, then use it to raise their virtual pets and gradually change their home. Completing event missions will reward Polychromes and other items.
Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow

Detective Crowe and Hobble are back with another investigation after Roscaelifer's Carrot data was said to be smuggled down to the surface. Phaethon will join the case as a temporary detective assistant, tracking suspects, conducting surveillance, and piecing together clues. The event will also reward Polychromes and other items.
HIA virtual combat event
The HIA's latest virtual combat programme was originally developed by Claret to test Porcelloy weapons. When that plan did not work out, she apparently decided to turn the whole thing into a game instead.
The event features Alliance and Special Offensive stages, with players needing to build a high enough combat score within the time limit while making use of different buffs available in each stage. Rewards include Polychromes, Tuning Calibrators, and other items.
Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel update

Operation Bagel will receive its first regular seasonal update in Version 3.2, with Claret and Roxy joining the mode alongside their Tactical Prism Programs and new universal Gear for the Armourer specialty.
The update will also add:
- New Z-Rank Valuables
- A higher cap for high-difficulty challenges
- Break-Even Beacon, which can secure selected supplies even if an extraction fails
- Seasonal Inventory Expansion Plug-In
- New Proxy accessories and other Season Store rewards
HoYoverse also confirmed that Operation Bagel will continue receiving seasonal updates, including larger themed seasons featuring new maps, systems, combat content, and higher-difficulty challenges.
Zenless Zone Zero Beginner Guide permanently adds three S-Rank Agents

Players who missed Version 3.1's free S-Rank Agent selection will get another chance through a permanent update to the Beginner Guide. After Version 3.2 launches, eligible players will be able to choose one of:
- Jane
- Hugo
- Soldier 0 - Anby
Completing the Phase 2 Beginner Guide missions will also allow players to choose one of the three Agents' corresponding W-Engines.
Koleda combat upgrade

Koleda is getting a fairly substantial combat upgrade in Version 3.2. Her maximum Furnace Fire stacks will increase, while her enhanced Basic Attack will become stronger depending on how many stacks are consumed. Players will also be able to switch Agents after the first hit of the enhanced Basic Attack, with Koleda remaining on the field to finish the second hit.
Consuming Furnace Fire will additionally provide a squad-wide damage buff. More importantly for Version 3.2, Koleda can increase the Laceration DMG of Armourer Agents, while Agents from other specialties can instead receive additional CRIT DMG. This effect can be improved further through Potential Activation. That should make Koleda particularly compatible with Claret, whose Armourer kit revolves around Laceration DMG.
What are the game improvements that players can look forward to in Zenless Zone Zero?
Version 3.2 also includes several smaller combat and quality-of-life changes aimed at making everyday systems easier to use.
Perfect Assist indicators will be clearer
- Enemy attack flashes will now make it easier to tell whether Defensive Assist can be used:
- Gold flash: the attack can be countered with Defensive Assist
- Red flash: the attack cannot be countered with Defensive Assist
This should make it easier to decide whether to switch Agents or dodge without unnecessarily interrupting an attack sequence.
Drive Disc recommendations are being updated
Players will be able to view Drive Disc recommendations immediately after obtaining a new disc. HoYoverse is also refreshing its recommendations for existing Agents, keeping their suggested builds up to date.
Agent filters will remember your selections
Agent filter settings and results will now be temporarily saved after leaving the menu, so players will not have to rebuild the same filters every time they return.
More support for the new Armourer specialty
Several existing systems are also being expanded to accommodate Armourer Agents.
Version 3.2 will add:
- New Armourer material stages in the VR Training Room
- A-Rank W-Engine Catty Luck through Signal Search or the gadget store
- B-Rank W-Engine [Lunar] Semiluna through Signal Search or the gadget store
- Armourer W-Engine Bloodmarrow Coffer through City Fund Benefits
- Bloodmarrow Coffer as a future Great Builder's Certificate redemption option
- A new sidebar theme and pendant
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2: Their Secret Histories launches on 9 September.
