Unique skill: One True Color

If positioned toward the front with 350m or less remaining and there is another Umamusume close behind, the determination to stay ahead makes it easier to break out of the pack.

Wedding Curren Chan, just like her original version, will be a Pace Chaser specialised for Sprint races on Turf. With that said, she can also be shifted to becoming a Front Runner due to her ‘B’ Aptitude with that running style.

Wedding Curren Chan's innate skills include ‘Hesitant Front Runners’, ‘Pace Chaser Corners’, and ‘Intimidate’. She can also innately learn the skills ‘Sprinting Gear’, ‘Adored by All’, ‘Pace Chaser Savvy’, and ‘Turbo Sprint’ when her Potential Levels are raised. In addition, she can also get skill hints for ‘Frenzied Late Surgers’, ‘Sprint Corners’, ‘Disorient’, and ‘Sprinting Gear’ from her career events.

Think of Wedding Curren Chan as a sidegrade to her original version, which focuses more on debuffs due to that version's innate access to ‘Dazzling Disorientation’ and ‘Adored by All’. Wedding Curren Chan still has access to ‘Adored by All’ but trades access to ‘Dazzling Disorientation’ for ‘Turbo Sprint’, a powerful acceleration skill for Sprint races.

You can't go wrong with having either versions of Curren Chan on your roster, as she remains one of the strongest Sprinters currently available in the game. With that said, her distance aptitudes being fully tailored towards Sprints does make it more difficult for her to make the most out of the current ‘Trackblazer’ scenario. With only a ‘D’ aptitude for Mile races, you will need to invest a lot into having the right Sparks for that distance to let Curren Chan have easier access to the bonus stats from the Mile ‘Trackblazer’ Epithets. For comparison, the likes of Nishino Flower, Sakura Bakushin O, and Hishi Akebono all can run in both Sprint and Mile races, and as such are significantly easier to train in ‘Trackblazer’.

With that said, Wedding Curren Chan will still be a competitive pick right now if you get her, and she'll only get better once we shift into a new scenario. While we won't say she's a must-pull, fans of Curren Chan will still find any Carats they spend to get her Wedding version to be well worth it.

Should you pull for Wedding Fine Motion?

Stat growth bonuses: Guts (10%), Wit (20%)

Unique skill: Best Day Ever

If well-positioned late-race on the final corner or later, increase velocity. If there's a large distance left to the finish, also increase acceleration very slightly with perfect form.

Wedding Fine Motion, just like her original version, will be a Pace Chaser specialised for Mile and Medium races on Turf. You can also run her in Long races or as an End Closer with the right Sparks as she has ‘C’ Aptitudes for that distance and running style, respectively. However, you're better off still running her as a Pace Chaser as she has access to powerful skills for her intended running style.

Wedding Fine Motion's innate skills include ‘Firm Conditions’, ‘Head-On’, and ‘Shifting Gears’. She can also innately learn the skills ‘Mile Corners’, ‘Changing Gears’, ‘Fall Runner’, and ‘Neck and Neck' when her Potential Levels are raised. She can also learn a ton of skills from her career events, including ‘Pace Chaser Corners’, ‘All I’ve Got', ‘Mile Straightaways’, ‘Prepared to Pass’, ‘Standing By’, ‘Up-Tempo’, ‘Straight Descent’, ‘Updrafters’, ‘Preferred Position’, and ‘Head-On’.

Just like Wedding Curren Chan, you can think of Wedding Fine Motion as a sidegrade for her original version. Wedding Fine Motion trades her original version's innate access to the gold skills ‘Speed Star’ and ‘Determined Descent’ for ‘Changing Gears’ and ‘Neck and Neck’.

Since ‘Shifting Gears’ is a Mile-exclusive skill, Wedding Fine Motion will have more value if you train her for Mile races, in contrast to her original version being more versatile in terms of the distance of races she can run. But given how powerful of a skill ‘Neck and Neck’ is for Pace Chasers, it's a worthwhile trade, even if you lose innate access to another powerful Pace Chaser skill in ‘Speed Star’. And you can still get that skill if you have Sakura Chiyono O's SSR Stamina Support Card if you really want it.

With that said, Wedding Fine Motion–just like her original version–suffers from not having access to her powerful SSR Wit Support Card, which remains far and away the best stat stick for Wit currently available in the game. Wedding Fine Motion's 20% stat growth bonus for Wit can help pick up the slack, but there will be runs where you'd rue not having her Wit card.

Even so, Fine Motion is still a strong pick due to her versatile aptitudes and access to strong Pace Chaser skills. It won't take much for her to get her aptitude for Long races up to ‘A’ so she can maximise the stat bonuses she can get from ‘Trackblazer’ Epithets. And that rings true for both her Wedding and original versions. If you're in need of a strong yet easy to train Miler, then Wedding Fine Motion will be well worth the Carats.
