Can't decide whether you want the snake thiren or the girl and the intelligent construct? We've got you covered.
It’s the second half of Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.7, and players finally have the chance to pull the limited S-Rank agent Cissia from the Metropolitan Order Division, alongside the re-run of S-Rank agent Seed from Obol Squad.
If you’re trying to decide whether to spend your pulls, we’ve got you covered. Here are some key considerations before going for Cissia or Seed.
Should I pull Cissia in Zenless Zone Zero?
Hilarious, high-cortisol, and undeniably unique, Cissia could be favourite for players drawn to her design and personality. As a snake Thiren, Cissia is an Electric Attack character who functions primarily as an on-field DPS with strong supportive capabilities. She applies Venom Mark and consumes it to trigger Serpent’s Venom Burst. Her kit revolves around defence shred (up to 25%) and CRIT DMG buffs for the team when paired with Electric units, making her a high-synergy partner for Seed and other Electric attackers.
However, in terms of the meta, Cissia isn’t among the strongest options available. Depending on your current team compositions, she may be an easy skip.
Pull Cissia if you’re a fan of her design or already have Seed, as she’s a niche sub-DPS tailored specifically for Electric teams. She isn’t a must-pull for meta progression, especially with Version 3.0 banners on the horizon. For optimal performance, she requires significant investment and works best alongside Seed. If you lack an Electric carry, she can fill the role, but with limitations. She also has restricted team options, making her less versatile for F2P players who need broader coverage.
Should I pull Seed in Zenless Zone Zero?
A returning S-Rank with a flashy mech-based playstyle, Seed offers a more accessible entry point into Electric teams–especially for newer players.
Seed (real name Flora) is an S-Rank Electric Attack agent who pilots the mech “Seed Sr.” to deal massive Electric DMG through her unique Steel Charge resource system. She excels in quick-swap teams, relying on a second Attack agent (her “vanguard”) to trigger buffs that increase ATK and CRIT DMG by up to 30%. Orphie & Magus are considered her best partners due to their high energy regeneration and strong off-field presence. However, Seed isn’t necessarily Orphie’s best pairing, as Soldier 0 Anby generally synergises better overall.
From a meta perspective, Seed is a solid pick if you’re new to the game and need a reliable Electric DPS. However, for long-time players with established Electric rosters, she’s easier to skip. Her damage output, while good, isn’t particularly exceptional compared to newer options.
Ultimately, whether you pull for Cissia or Seed comes down to what you value most–meta strength, team synergy, or simply how much you enjoy the character and their playstyle.
Who are you pulling for? Good luck on those banners!
