Limited edition Genshin Impact DualSense Wireless Controller announced for 2026

The designs of the controllers will be themed after Aether, Lumine, and Paimon.

HoYoverse fans have another shiny collectible to look forward to, as PlayStation and HoYoverse are teaming up for a brand-new DualSense Wireless Controller, Genshin Impact Limited Edition.

The announcement dropped on the PlayStation Blog on Monday (1 December) revealing a stylish pad themed around the Traveller twins Aether and Lumine, as well as everyone’s favourite floating companion, Paimon. With Genshin Impact’s Version Luna III on the horizon for PS5, this collaboration feels perfectly timed for players gearing up to dive back into Teyvat.

The controller sports a clean white base with gold and green accents, arcane-style markings, and character emblems that make it instantly recognisable for long-time fans. It’s not just a simple reskin either; Sony Interactive Entertainment’s design team worked closely with HoYoverse to capture the game’s look and feel.

HoYoverse’s Wenyi Jin, President of Global Publishing and Operation, marked the reveal with a message to fans, saying they’re “thrilled to have the opportunity to present the DualSense Wireless Controller – Genshin Impact Limited Edition to our players and fans around the world.”

Jin explained that the controller carries iconic elements tied to the Traveller Twins and Paimon, tapping into years of shared adventures in Teyvat and the memories the community has built along the way. The sentiment is clear: they hope players will “enjoy the company of the controller” as they continue expanding their journey through Genshin Impact.

Players picking this up will get the full benefits of the DualSense’s next-gen features, including immersive haptics, smooth adaptive triggers, and the PS5’s overall performance boosts like fast loading and 4K support. If you’re planning a fresh run through Nod-Krai or looking forward to playing as Durin when Luna III arrives, this controller is designed to match the vibe.

Pre-orders kick off on 11 December

Pre-orders kick off on 11 December 2025 through direct.playstation.com, as well as select retailers. Stock is limited, so fans hoping to grab one may want to set reminders early. The controller is priced at £74.99 / US$84.99 / €84.99 / ¥12,480.

As for release timing, the rollout will happen in waves. It first arrives in Asia (including Japan) on 21 January, 2026, followed by North America, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand on 25 February, 2026. Exact availability will vary by region.

For those ordering directly from PlayStation, launch-day delivery will be offered for eligible regions, giving players a chance to start their next Genshin session with a brand-new themed controller straight out of the box.

With Version Luna III boosting interest in Genshin Impact once again, the DualSense Genshin Impact Limited Edition arrives as a collectible that blends style, nostalgia, and a bit of that trademark HoYoverse magic.
