Nefer is here! Here’s how to build her.
Nefer has debuted in Genshin Impact Version Luna II, and with her comes another powerful Dendro DPS to set your sights on!
Since Nefer is affiliated with Nod-Krai, she works around the region's new elemental reaction “Lunar Bloom”, which is unique to all characters who wield a Moon Wheel (Nod-Krai’s version of a “Vision”). Much like Lauma, Nefer’s Bloom DMG, as well as its other subsequent reactions, will have the ability to deal Critical DMG.
Since she is capable of dealing a high amount of damage, Nefer works best as an on-field DPS, ideally with another fellow Nod-Krai character in the party to get a unique buff to her capabilities. The buff being: Nefer will be able to convert Dendro Cores into “Seeds of Deceit” that will enhance her Elemental Mastery, Special Charged ATK, and Elemental Burst DMG.
Nefer’s DMG scales with her total Elemental Mastery, and is further powered by a balanced Crit stat ratio. To get these ideal stats, here is the best gear to equip her with:
Weapons
For weapons, it’s best to equip Catalysts that are able to increase Nefer’s Elemental Mastery, or enhance her Elemental Skill. The Reliquary of Truth is already your best bet when it comes to this, as it is already tailor-made for her kit. However, if you are not too keen on pulling in the weapon banner, here are some great alternatives:

Teams
Since Nefer is a Dendro character, it's pretty evident that she works best with team members who can allow her to trigger the Bloom and Lunar Bloom reaction. As such, you will need to have a party that consists of both Dendro and Hydro characters, with an additional Nod-Krai character to trigger the Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam effect, as much of her DMG increase is locked behind this effect.
Your team should look like this: Nefer, Hydro or Dendro sub-DPS or support, Dendro support, Nod-Krai Hydro or Dendro support/shielder/healer.
- For Hydro characters, you can consider: Neuvillette, Furina, Yelan, Nilou, Sangonomiya Kokomi, Xingqiu, Nilou, or Aino.
- For Dendro, you can consider: Nahida, Baizhu, or Lauma
