Swedish multigaming organization Ninjas in Pyjamas have announced plans for an eSports Summer camp this year. Young gamers will be able to play on LAN for three days with NiP's players attending to supervise and help out aspiring players.

Ninjas in Pyjamas are planning to host and organize an eSports Summer Camp this June. For three days, around 300 gamers will be able to play on LAN to improve their skills and play and train under the supervision of pros from the Ninjas in Pyjamas squads. NiP is set to have their Dota 2 and CS:GO squads attend the event, as well as inviting the Copenhagen Wolves League of Legends team. Named 'Area08', the Summer camp is set to be held near Stockholm, Sweden.

Exact dates and information, such as pricing, have yet to be revealed, but this event is going to be the first of its kind in eSports, looking to help players improve in all aspects of gaming, not just mechanical skill. "We’ve worked hard for a long time to give kids good self-esteem and show them how to treat each other in a nice way and we’re glad that Friends want to work with us. I think it’ll be great and I hope that the presence of the star players will make the attendees listen more closely.", says Andjela Kusmuk, Head of Partner Relations at NiP.

Physical activities are also planned to be included, to show that not only is it important to work out, but also to know how to work out properly to prevent serious injuries. Players that have suffered from serious injuries during their gaming careers include Evil Geniuses' Fear, Alliance's Chessie and compLexity Gaming's Riser
