The Husky Hearthstone Invitational pits four players against each other - Artosis, Tasteless, Sheth and Trump. The first series between Artosis and Sheth is now live.
The invited players first go through a round robin stage to determine their standings and once that is complete, a single elimination bracket will be played. Below is the first video of the round robin between Liquid`s Sheth of StarCraft 2 fame and Artosis, a renowned StarCraft 2 caster and one of the faces of the GSL.
What are they playing?
Each player is required to bring two decks of different classes and change them after a loss. Artosis' decks of choice include the standard Frost Giants deck that relies on Frost Nova, Blizzard and Cone of Cold to stall the game into the later turns when it finishes the opponent through Alexstrasza, Pyroblast and Molten/Mountain Giants. His second deck is StrifeCro's mid-range Druid which we talk about here.
Sheth also brought a copy of StrifeCro's mid-range Druid but his second choice was the more unorthodox Hunter deck. The build employs a mix of charging minions and, traps and taunters like Abomination to apply quick pressure to control decks and at the same time have responses against aggro decks.
