Match report

Game one

Alliance First Blood gank on Magnus in the mid lane failed terribly as Magnus Skewer Puck into the tower range. With the help of Jakiro's Ice Patch to lock three of Alliance's heroes in place, Puck fell to the tower despite effort to Salve up before the last hit.

Both teams left the off-lane unattended and the carry of both teams, Faceless Void and Sven were on toe-to-toe in farm. Sven opted for the Hand of Midas while FV bought Power Treads first.

Na`Vi extended their kill lead to 4-1 after killing off the Puck for the third time in 8 minutes while Lina who came over to help was caught in the cross fire. Alliance was quick to bounce back with Rubick and Batrider pick-offs in two separate occassions to bring the gold graph back to 0.

The first smoke of the game was popped at 14 minutes in by Na`Vi and it was successful in picking off the Sven but Io was there to save his life. Io Tethered and Relocated Sven back to base and took the death for the team. Sven on the other hand, cleared his second ancient stack 18 minutes in giving Alliance a 4,000 gold lead.

A big fight broke out in the Rosh pit as Na`Vi in a desperate attempt to regain their lead was caught in a four-man Dream Coil while they were retreating upon being discovered. The Chronosphere was dropped to prevent Sven from destroying everybody but the damage from the supports was sufficient to bring down three of Na`Vi's. Alliance took three more heroes in a counter-engagement and sieged the base tower to half hp before retreating.

From the on, Na`Vi kept on getting picked off and a final pick off in Na`Vi's base sealed game one for Alliance.

Game two

Game two is a battle between Anti-Mage and Alliance. After some big rotation by Alliance in the laning phase, killing off two heroes, the game fell into a long stand-off as both teams prepare themselves to go into ultra late game.

33 minutes into the game, Phantom Lancer has farmed a total of 333 creeps and had over 5,000 gold saved up on top of his Diffusal Blade and Heart of Tarrasque. A few smokes were popped off but it just did not seem like Alliance was ready to take a fight. Besides that, Keeper of the Light has been doing a good job not allowing Na`Vi to take down more towers for bigger map control.

In the battle of the farm however, Na`Vi was leading by 2,000 gold 36 minutes which was not all that significant.

You see PL farming, you hatin'

Na`Vi, with Aegis on hand, took down all of Alliance's outer towers 41 minutes in. The first big engagement of the game happened at 45 minutes when Alliance finally picked up enough courage to walk into the Radiant jungle. Alliance came out slightly on top in that fight with a two for two trade plus the Aegis for the Swedes.

As the battle disengaged, both teams went back to farming. Phantom Lancer maxed out his items and had 6,000 gold in reserve 49 minutes in. Anti-Mage was also maxed out without a Monkey King Bar for the Phantom Lancer but an Abyssal Blade instead.

A big engagement broke out in the mid lane as Magnus Skewer into the wrong direction and gave up the free Aegis he just obtained a few seconds ago causing the whole Swedish team to fight frantically. During the fight, Na`Vi was able to distract Alliance long enough for the Anti-Mage to take down the top barracks. The same thing happened to the bottom barracks 3 minutes later after Phantom Lancer allegedly ran into four heroes way past enemy lines.

One teamfight and two Na`Vi buyback later, Na`Vi successfully took down the Phantom Lancer. With no buyback, the game was over.

Game three

In game three, Na`Vi opted for the solo safe lane Anti-Mage and placed their Tinker, Jakiro and Rubick on the off-lane. The trilane did not work out well as Jakiro quickly gave away the First Blood since Tinker was too weak to do anything when Alliance charged in.

Due to their weak laning phase and early game synergy, Alliance was able to hustle down off-position heroes and picked up a few kills to build up their lead. 23 minutes into the game, Alliance has built up over 12,000 gold advantage as they destroyed Na`Vi's final outer tower.

With all their safeguard down, Alliance was able to claim full control of the map as they slow-rolled Na`Vi into the loser bracket.
