We haz Asian gets the ticket to DreamHack

We haz Asian is the 13th team to get the DreamHack Winter ticket. In the second online qualifier, the team defeated Kaipi Gaming in the final.

DreamHack Winter gets more and more spots filled. Last week, the title defender alongside nine other teams was invited to compete in DreamHack Winter 2012 Dota 2 Corsair Vengeance Cup. Last weekend, team ScaryFaceZ from Ukraine sealed the deal, fnatic already qualified through DreamHack Valencia tournament.

Now, the second online qualifier is finished and team We haz Asian from Germany has won in the final against Kaipi. Last weekend, WhA had lost in the semi final gainst ScaryFaceZ, the team which afterwards qualified for the Jönköping tournament. The first tournament had 64 confirmed teams in the grid, which is the maximum for DreamHack online qualifiers, this time it was still 58 confirmed teams.

DreamHack Winter will happen 22 to 24 November, with an open bracket Dota 2 tournament and a 16 team final tournament with group stage and playoffs, with SEK 200,000 at stakes. One very last online qualifier will happen next weekend, finishing the 14 predetermined teams. All teams will still have to confirm their trip to mid-Sweden.
