More brackets and more double elimination hit the North American tournament with the closing event for the summer season.

MLG's Summer Championship will be divided into three rounds. The first round will be a big, double elimination open tournament, constructed in a way that players will not be able to meet each other more than once.

Round two sees the end of the pool play and the transition to a four separate double elimination brackets, eight players a piece. The 32 players that will compete in round two will be the top 16 from Summer Arena, 8 yet unannounced invites and top 8 from the round 1 open tournament.

Round three is the championship bracket, which is once again divided into two separate brackets. The winners of each bracket will then proceed to meet each other in the grand final.

MLG Summer Championship commences August 24-26 with a prize pool of $76,000.
