CLG invited to The International

Team Counter Logic Gaming will be the eighth team for The International.

Valve has announced the eighth team for The International 2. Counter Logic Gaming will compete with its Swedish team in the most prestigious tournament of the year. With CLG, the count of European teams in the tournament is raised to two, only Na'Vi being the other.

CLG has reached third place at their last offline event. As the only western-European team at the Star Ladder Finals in Kiev this April, the Swedes around team-captain Pajkatt gained the spot behind Na'Vi and M5, but finished better than Darer at that time. Just recently, the team has also beaten Na'Vi in the new season of the Star Series. The International 2 will be held in Seattle, in the Benaroya Concert Hall, from 31 August to 2 September.
