The Vietnamese team StarsBoba has long been eager to enter the Dota 2 scene and with matches of the Asian division of Prodota 2 League kicking off soon, it could not have come at a better time. StarsBoba absorbs former Skynet and WAG teammates to form a new roster for Dota 2.
With Archie and Yuna playing for a separate League of Legends team and Recca busy with work commitments, the team had to make the decision to source for fresh blood from neighbouring teams. This was when WAG and Skynet came into the picture.
WAG's S and 579 as well as blackmoon from Skynet will be joining StarsBoba for all their intents and purposes in Dota 2, while the team will remain with its original roster for DotA.
"This will be a new and stable squad for the players all share a deep passion for Dota 2," Yuki, the team's manager, spoke to us on behalf of the team. "For the upcoming Prodota 2 League, we are aiming for a top five position. This will not be an easy goal, but we will try our best and treat every match like its the finals because the other teams are all very strong."
The team is still in the midst of sourcing for sponsorship.
