Gigabyte Dota 2 Masters announces groupings

Hosted by BeyondTheSummitTV, South East Asia's biggest Dota 2 online tournament to date is about to go off on its maiden voyage with the group stages primed for next Sunday, 29th of April. The groups for the respective teams have just been decided in a draw hosted live by our very own David 'GoDz' Parker.

As with the previous announcement, the Gigabyte Dota 2 Masters will see the Chinese teams going out in full force as five Chinese teams make their appearance, some of them for the very first time. Expect a feast for the eyes when top SEA teams from all over the region lock horns for $5,000 in cash, and nothing less.

With a new reformed EHOME and a top heavy bracket, it looks like Groups A and B will be pumping out high quality action while Groups C and D will feature the debut of lesser known Dota 2 teams such as TongFu and GoG. The two qualifying teams will be decided after the conclusion of the second qualifier on 28th April.

Mineski, Zenith and Invasion Red look confident to emerge successfully from their groups while the Chinese pair of EHOME and DK with the Malaysian pair of Orange and MUFC will be fighting to the bone to qualify from their respective groups.

Be sure to follow closely as the spotlight falls on SEA Dota 2 during the months of May and June.
