$29,000 DreamHack Summer 2012

Not long ago, DreamHack announced Dota 2 as one of the games to be played at DHS. Today, more updates, including important qualifier information, as well as a list of invited teams has been released.

16 teams will play off at DreamHack's Vengeance Dota 2 cup, other than direct invites, 8 slots are up for grabs for the public; 4 through online qualification and 4 through the "Bring Your Own Computer" qualification.

The last two invites have already been sent out and organisers are awaiting final conformation. We will bring you updates as soon as it is released.

4 spots are also open through online qualification. Up to 32 teams will fight it out in a single-elimination best of 1 format up till the grand final, which will be best of 3. Do however note that travel costs are not covered by DreamHack organisers. Qualifier dates and times can be found below.

Interested teams are to return here at specified registration times for more information on how to sign up. Additionally, the BYOC qualifiers will be held on June 16th, more information to be released later.
