China Chinese Universities
The university undergrads are coming into the competition as underdogs. Virtually nothing is known about them and this could work to their advantage. With no track record to speak of, they retain the element of surprise and will keep other top-tier on their toes.

China TYJ.LGD
The winners of SMM'09 are not in the greatest shape at the moment, having lost several domestic and international matches after 2009 retired, and have struggled to regain momentum.

Still, talented players like ZSMJ and YYF cannot be written off just yet as they are known to spring many surprises in unlikely circumstances.

Denmark Meet Your Makers
This is a team that has been in competitive DotA for as long as anyone could remember. With the amount invaluable LAN experience they possess, they prove to be worthy opponents for both their Asian and European counterparts.

Results also speak for volumes for the Danish contingent: a bronze medal in ESWC as well as a 3rd place finish in the recently concluded Razer Global Challenge signifies a strong team caliber and consistency.

It is a safe bet that they've got chance make it to the top 4 but garnering the top spot can be done only if they manage to pull off something extraordinary against the Chinese's almost 'robotic' play style.

Malaysia Nirvana.my
Currently the number one team in Malaysia, the team has performed extremely well in local LAN competitions despite growing competition from the younger breed of gamers.

Relying on past experience and exceptional individual skills, legends like YamateH and MuShI will be instrumental in the victory or failure of their campaign.

Although MuShI has announced plans to leave the team at the end of the year, he has vowed to his fans on Facebook that nothing will get in the way of the greater goal: the clinch the crown and make Loveen proud.
