MPL Indonesia’s fourteenth season begins today, with nine teams beginning their battle through the Regular Season as they hope to become champions.
It feels like an age since we have been at the Mobile Legends Professional League, but today, August 9th will see the teams return to action for Season 14 in Indonesia. With 9 teams fighting over a nine-week-long Regular Season, there is everything to play for, especially after Season 13 produced new challengers to the Fnatic ONIC crown. With that in mind, Week 1 of the Regular Season promises some great action, with a few extremely interesting matchups to look forward to.

The opening day of MPL ID Season 14 comes with two interesting series, both featuring teams from the top 2 of Season 13. With both ONIC and EVOS losing some footing at MSC 2024, there is a big chance for some early upsets on Day 1.

Saturday’s series promises to be just as exciting, with some amazing matchups on the cards. Our main focus will be on the Robots, who stormed through the Regular Season last time around, ending up in first place before the playoffs knocked them down. However, this is definitely not the only team with interest, as RRQ Hoshi looks to rebuild and get back to the top, and GFID dreams of getting into the top 2.

Rounding out Week 1 of MPL ID Season 14’s Regular Season will be another batch of fantastic series. ONIC will, once again, be a team to watch, especially if they do end up dropping some early games – while Dewa and Rebellion will be hoping that they can make it into the playoffs this season.
All in all, Week 1 promises to give us a ton of action, as the nine teams begin their uphill battle in the MPL ID Regular Season. Whether or not ONIC will be claiming their fifth title in a row remains to be seen, but Season 14’s challengers will definitely have a lot to say as we head into the tournament.
