On November 30th, in Las Vegas, multitudes of members of the esports community from around the world gathered for a culmination of the best parts of our year – The Esports Awards. The event, which has taken place since 2017, showcases some of the best esports titles, casters, celebrities, teams, and media, showing appreciation for our ever-growing industry and those who put in copious amounts of work and effort to enrich its community.
With MOONTON Games continuing to grow Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at every turn, it was only a matter of time before they and the game itself saw international acclaim. Having been nominated for Game of the Year, Publisher of the Year, and Mobile Game of the Year, MLBB and MOONTON walked away with only the latter – but it was more than enough to get the buzz around the game stirring with those that may not know about it.
Kelly Chiew, Head of Overseas PR at MOONTON Games had the following to say on this momentous occasion,
We are thankful and honoured to bring back the ‘Mobile Game of The Year’. This is an amazing accomplishment and would like to extend our appreciation to The Esports Awards panel committee, and the fans who’ve supported us.
It’s been a huge year for us in mobile gaming and esports, including the new emblem revamp and PROJECT NEXT updates that we’ve launched to keep gameplay fresh and exciting for our players. This recognition neatly ties the year up, along with our M5 World Championship happening in Manila.”
With the final month of 2023 now on our hands, MLBB looks farther forward and ever upward, as it continues to shine across the globe. And with the absolutely epic M5 World Championship coming our way from December 2nd, we may see many more new fans being made as MLBB is on the tip of everyone’s tongue after its amazing award.
