Rex Regum Qeon, or RRQ Hoshi, have constantly been in the upper echelons of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene of Indonesia. Although having change their name along the way, the team have taken first place in the Mobile Legends Professional League in their region a total of three times, with multiple podium finishes alongside this. While the team seemed as though they would finally be taking another victory in Season 8, Onic stood in their way, claiming a thrilling grand finals victory. From there, RRQ also seemed destined to be one of the final challengers at M3, especially with Alberttt’s group stage performances outshining everyone – but it was not meant to be.

However, that has not stopped the team from sticking together as MPL ID Season 9 is quickly approaching, with their latest roster now revealed. With a post on their social media accounts, RRQ Hoshi revealed a lineup which included three new player, plus the competitive scene return of Lemon – a player well-known throughout the MLBB community, who has been a part of some of the biggest wins win the organisation.

Having competed in nearly every MPL ID season since its inception, Lemon decided to take a competitive break prior to Season 8 – but now returns, ready to breath new life back into the team as they look to challenge for the championship once again. The full RRQ Hoshi lineup is:

  • R7
  • Alberttt
  • Clayyy
  • Psychoo
  • Skylar
  • Vynnn
  • Lemon
  • Aether
  • Violence
  • Yummy

It will be fantastic to see Lemon’s return to the MLBB scene, especially with the brilliance of RRQ last season. The most interesting thing will be to see if RRQ can pick themselves up from a poor M3 performance and bounce back to take a fourth MPL ID title in Season 9.
