Just a few days ago, Blacklist International confirmed that two players would be skipping Season 9, and now they have revealed their full new roster.
Over the past weekend, Blacklist International revealed that both OhMyV33nus and Wise would be taking a break from competitive Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, meaning that they would not be present for the upcoming MPL PH Season 9. With that, the team were left with three, but there were a few players on the bench which we had not seen playing for some time who could take over. Through the last few days, the M3 champions were very active on their social media accounts, Tweeting out teasers as to who their new players might be – and now they have confirmed their full roster going forward.
The first teaser came in the form of a picture with two shrouded players behind their remaining members, Hadji, Oheb, and Edward. Just yesterday it was confirmed that Eson would be back on the roster, meaning that only one player remained to be revealed.
Only a short time ago, Blacklist were back to their Twitter account to let everyone know that the final player on the roster would be a player named “Kevier” – an up-and-coming pubstar in the MLBB scene. Kevier was scoped out for the first time by Blacklist back in Season 6, but that was during the V33Wise trade, so he never made it through into the roster, until now. Having scrimmed against the M3 champions before, Kevier is no stranger to the team he will now be an integral part of.
With Bon Chan still as their amazing coach, a new assistant coach in the form of Master the Basics (MTB) and Dex Star still a part of the roster, Blacklist will be going into MPL PH Season 9 looking to defend the crown in the absence of the deadly V33Wise duo. - MTB (Assistant Coach)
While Uncle ESON is well known as being a magnificent player, Kevier will have to prove himself as he enters the Land of Dawn. However, with that said, the entire team will have the backing of a brilliant organisation, as well as every single Blacklist agent out there for support. It will be interesting to see just what they can do when MPL PH Season 9 kicks off later this year.
