Team Flash Interview: "We are very confident that we can win the championship this season"

Just before the Mobile Legends Professional League Season 6 in Singapore kicks off its Playoff stage, we had a chance to catch up with Hadess of Team Flash.

MPL SG Season 6 is about to head into its Playoff stage, with the eight teams all hoping to survive into the grand finals and become champions of the region. The championship title, which has been claimed by RSG SG for the past three seasons, comes with qualification into the M5 World Championship, so the stakes are high. This season has seen https://www.gosugamers.net/mobile-legends/teams/41809-team-flash make a valiant run already, matching RSG stride for stride and eventually topping the Regular Season standings. We caught up with https://www.gosugamers.net/mobile-legends/players/372025-hadess-2 recently to ask him a bit about MLBB itself, the playoffs, and SG as a whole.

Having placed 5th/6th in both MPL Indonesia and PH, how does it feel finishing first place in MPL SG regular season?

Hadess: I'm happy because our team is playing really well this season and we are very confident that we can win the championship this season too.

Compared to other regions, do you think MPL SG is easy?

There's no real easy region, it's just that every region plays a different playstyle. In the Philippines, they play more around the objectives, while in SG, there's more skirmishes around the map which are sometimes unnecessary.

Do you think that MPL SG is a free ticket to M5?

I don't think so because there are some really good teams in SG such as Bleed Esports and RSG SG.

If you were to win MPL SG, would it feel the same as winning MPL ID or PH?

Yes, definitely. It is a massive achievement.

How do you think the MLBB scene in SG could be improved?

Just by growing the community, SG can improve.

Which do you think are better: PH or ID imports?

PH, because that's where I am from!

With that in mind, what is the difference between playing in SG and playing in PH?

As I mentioned before, both regions are similar, but PH focus more on objective-based play, while SG has a lot more skirmishes and fighting.

Does it feel like you have left behind something "better" in leaving PH, or to you find it better to now make a name for yourself in a new region and with a new team?

No, because this is still MPL and SG is still as big as other regions.

Who is the best player in SG, in your opinion?

Probably https://www.gosugamers.net/mobile-legends/players/371668-jayy-1 or https://www.gosugamers.net/mobile-legends/players/438637-vanix.

If Team Flash were to go up against your previous PH squad (Blacklist International), which team would come out on top?

I guess Blacklist would win because of the experience that they have, as well as their communication.

Do players from different regions often bring unknown/unplayed strategies from their old rosters into the new ones?

Yeah. Even I brought in some new ideas when joining SG.

Team Flash will begin their challenge for the MPL SG title on Friday, October 20, when they take on Bleed Esports in the upper bracket semi-finals. The winner will instantly secure a guaranteed four spot in the tournament. It will be interesting to see if Team Flash will be the ones to deny RSG SG a fourth title, especially after they took them down during the Regular Season. Stay tuned to our MLBB tab for all the news, team updates, and information from this weekends MPL SG Season 6 playoffs.
