The LPL Spring Split will allegedly be broadcasted officially from Thursday through Sunday.
Today is the day when the LPL Spring Split begins, but just hours earlier there was plenty of confusion from the official LPL X account. To highlight the start of the LPL Spring Split, the post stated that the “broadcasts will be available every Thursday through Sunday,” even though there are games every day of the week in the region.
This has since caused plenty of confusion for fans of the LPL, especially since it has been one of the top two regions at international tournaments for some time now. Even the current Mid-Season Invitational titleholders are from the LPL as JD Gaming look to defend its reigning regional championship.
It remains to be seen what will happen in the coming days with the LPL now in full swing. Given that it currently is broadcasting the live-stream of the first day of the LPL Spring Split, it should be safe to assume that it will be going on for the rest of the week as well. And seeing as there are only two best-of-threes a day being played in the LPL, losing out on potentially six matches a week would get just about any fan annoyed.
