OG's losing streak continues against MSF; UOL stomp ROC (EU W6D3)

Misfits vs. Origen

Bringing xPeke back to the starting llineup has saved Origen before, but the mojo might have worn off. The Misfits had no trouble putting OG away in two dominant games thanks to superior lane pressure and better rotations. While it still took them over 30 minutes to close out the games, it wasn't because Origen had a late-game surge - rather, Misfits simply preferred to play with calculated aggression, carefully taking objectives and leaving no chance of a comeback.

Leading the charge for the Misfits was KaKAO, whose Lee Sin was able to make so much of that early aggression pay off. He secured a 10/2/21 KDA on the Blind Monk and enabled first blood in both games, on top of securing Rift Heralds for the team. PowerOfEvil also had a great series, with a 12/1/14 KDA and 34k damage dealt. Meanwhile, xPeke's return was supposed to galvanize Origen, but he looked completely out of place in the support role and was caught multiple times.

ROCCAT vs. Unicorns of Love

Unlike the Misfits, the Unicorns of Love weren't concerned with playing carefully. Instead, they opted for a more aggressive playstyle against ROCCAT, making risky plays to try and snowball a lead as quickly as they could. This gave the Unicorns problems in game 1 after they lost a teamfight during a risky Baron attempt, but a second Baron allowed them to easily wipe ROCCAT and take the base. In game 2, the strat worked perfectly - UOL simply rolled every lane, then pushed through ROCCAT for a clean victory.

Visicsacsi had a great series today, posting a 9/3/12 KDA after excellent performances on Gangplank and Renekton. Close behind him was Exileh - though he gave up first blood in game 2, Exileh then refused to die for the remainder of the game and finished with eight straight kills.
