?At the start of the North American LCS would kick off with Team Dignitas vs. Vulcun with Dignitas bringing back Scarra's infamous Master Yi from yesterday. With the lock-in of the Yi, fans were going wild in the crowd and hoping for a legendary, resetting "Master Yi-Sets". However, Vulcun had a very solid counter strategy and set up a brutal camp on the lane of Scarra, starting him off 0-2 at the beginning of the match.
With the forced pressure on Dignitas, Scarra was forced to build nearly no utility or strength for his auto attacks, having to forego any defenses as well to go straight for Deathcap / Voidstaff to try to make something off of his alpha strikes. Regardless of Scarra having a right start as well as KiWiKiD being much too squishy to soak damage, Imaqtpie would be the hero of Dignitas, starting the game off with 5 kills and nearly never dying.

As Dignitas would continue on, they would find themselves swinging back into the game but not making enough impact to ever push beyond a stalemate. With things not going in their favor, Vulcun was able to beef up enough to protect Zuna while at the same time nullifying Imaqtpie in teamfights, regardless of his insane damage output. It wouldn't be long before until Vulcun would be at the front steps, knocking at the middle turret of Dignitas' base and pushing through with an enormous victory.
The intermediate game of the night would be Counter Logic Gaming acquiring their rematch against Cloud 9 to see if they could be the team's kryptonite and take them down once again off the back of a 3-0 win streak across the top 3 teams in the LCS. However, Counter Logic Gaming would find themselves in an opposite position for game 2. While both teams had their merits, Cloud 9 would find advantages where CLG wouldn't by taking many free, uncontested barons, bringing a large headache to CLG.
However, let's back up to the start of the game. Within 4 minutes, we already had 5 kills within this gloriously action-packed game. Inhibitor turrets were dove and we almost saw 3 turrets going down at this time also. Link sacrificed a bit of his lane pressure to assist the side lanes and found himself able to apply a fatal amount of pressure to Cloud 9.

Though Cloud 9 would hold a constant and continuous gold lead, the game looked to be playing in the hands of CLG for playstyle preference. Doublelift was split pushing and getting very far ahead of Sneaky in both farm and levels and events were playing out smoothly for the late-game centric team. Unfortunately, what would ensue would have "derping" be a light term to describe the scenario. With a bit of careless action and lack of focus, CLG would quickly allow themselves to fall very hard and eventually allow Cloud 9 to win the game outright -- but not before giving us an unusually action-packed and intense game for a CLG game.
