Bilibili Gaming advance to LoL First Stand Grand Final in a dominant showing against JD Gaming

BLG will face G2 Esports at the Grand Finals.

Bilibili Gaming have secured their spot in the Grand Final of the League of Legends First Stand after sweeping JD Gaming 3-0 in the semifinals on 23 March in São Paulo, Brazil.

BLG entered the tournament as the LPL’s first seed and quickly stamped their authority on Group A. They edged BNK FearX 3-2 before sweeping G2 Esports in the upper bracket to lock in their place in the knockout stage.

JD Gaming, meanwhile, arrived as the LPL’s second seed. They dropped to the lower bracket of Group B after a 3-0 loss to the LCK’s Gen.G, but bounced back with a clean 3-0 sweep over LOUD, followed by a 3-1 win against LYON to reach the semifinals.

How Bilibili Gaming defeated JD Gaming

Game one opened with both sides on even footing, trading kills across the map in a close early game. As the match progressed, BLG ramped up the tempo, finding advantages through skirmishes and team fights while securing key objectives. JDG attempted to claw their way back, but BLG maintained control of the gold lead, accelerating their item spikes and overwhelming their opponents. After a bloody 32-minute game, BLG closed it out with a 22-11 kill score and a massive 16,000 gold lead.

In game two, JDG found early success through strong laning and efficient farming, building a modest gold lead while continuing to trade kills. They held the advantage into the late game, but BLG turned the tide with superior team fighting and decisive control around Baron and Dragon. A 29-minute finish saw BLG take the Nexus with a 15-7 kill lead, pushing the series to match point.

BLG carried that momentum into game three, exploding out of the gates with four early kills in the opening five minutes and setting the tone for a dominant close to the series. And after a 36-minute battle with a 22-9 kill lead, BLG won the third game and the series.

With the win, BLG advance to the Grand Final, where they will face G2 Esports. Meanwhile, JD Gaming exit the tournament in 3rd–4th place, taking home US$125,000 in prize money.
