Bilibili Gaming are the 2026 League of Legends First Stand Champions

This win also gives the LPL an advantage at the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational, with the region's second seed advancing straight to the bracket stage.

The LPL have finally gained another League of Legends international championship after three years. Bilibili Gaming have become the 2026 LoL First Stand champions after defeating G2 Esports 3-1 at the Grand Finals held in São Paulo, Brazil.

BLG came into the tournament as the LPL’s first seed and wasted little time asserting control over Group A. They narrowly got past BNK FearX in a 3-2 series before sweeping G2 Esports in the upper bracket to secure their spot in the knockout stage. In the semifinals, they took down JD Gaming with another 3-0 sweep, punching their ticket to the Grand Finals.

G2 also arrived as the LEC’s first seed and were drawn into Group A. They started strong with a 3-0 sweep over the LCP’s Team Secret Whales, but were pushed into the lower bracket after a 3-0 loss to BLG. In the lower bracket final, they responded in convincing fashion, taking apart the LCK’s second seed BNK FearX 3-0 to move on to the semi-finals. In the semifinals, G2 pulled off the unthinkable by defeating Gen.G in a 3-0 upset, securing their place in the Grand Finals.

In the first game, G2 came out swinging, going aggressive in the early game taking multiple kills to gain a small gold advantage. BLG however, kept up and successfully traded blows that allowed them to stay relevant throughout the game and finding openings for their team’s carries. Toward the late game, BLG were neck-and-neck with G2, with Peng “XUN” Li-Xun and Chen “bin” Ze-Bin’s successful plays catching out the LEC first seed multiple times. However, in a fight at the Baron pit, while BLG focused on defending and taking down the Baron, G2 turned the tides to their favour by annihilating BLG. This allowed G2 to march down BLG’s base to take down the Nexus to win the first game in 38 minutes with a 23-13 kill lead.

In the second game, BLG and G2 remained neck and neck through the early stages, with BLG finding small outplays to set back G2's bottom lane while G2 continued to trade back evenly. BLG then started leaning towards the top side, looking to open up the gold lead. A well-timed collapse in the top lane jungle swung things in their favour, picking up multiple kills and extending the gap. As the game wore on, BLG’s members became increasingly difficult for G2 to deal with, making every defensive setup harder to execute. Off the back of a decisive fight and, BLG pushed through and despite G2's efforts and picks that extended the game, BLG prevailed, taking down G2’s Nexus in 39 minutes with a 28-12 kill lead to lock in the second game.

In the third game, BLG pulled ahead early, taking consecutive kills to gain an early gold lead. BLG continued to outclass G2 in team fights and skirmishes, wasting no time to convert their lead to map objectives and towers to open up G2’s base, and gaining a 10,000 gold lead. After a 28-minute encounter and a 17-5 kill lead, BLG dismantled G2’s base to win the third game and take their team to matchpoint.

G2 looked to bounce back in the fourth game, racking up kills against BLG, but the LPL side held firm and denied them any real gold advantage. After dropping two members following a Baron take, G2 shifted their focus towards the Dragon, giving BLG an opening. The Chinese side capitalised immediately, marching down the base to take the Nexus. With a 12-8 kill lead at the 26-minute mark, BLG closed out the fourth game and the series.

With their win, BLG have become the 2026 First Stand Champions, winning US$250,000. This also makes Park “Viper” Do-hyeon the first two-time First Stand champion. Bin was also named the FMVP, for impactful plays that allowed BLG to win in crucial fights.

This win also grants their region an advantage at the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational, with the region’s second seed advancing straight to the bracket stage.

Meanwhile, G2 bow out of the competition in second place, taking home US$150,000.
