Honor of Kings has teased the next major update dubbed “Honor of Kings Plus,” due in Summer 2025, on their social media, featuring several images that symbolise the changes that will be enacted in the patch. While Honor of Kings didn't detail any of the pictures, it was speculated that at least two new heroes, a ranked mode grading optimisation, and a new collaboration would be added.
The first thing that was shown was the staff, which most likely teases a new hero in the update. While no official details were given, fans speculated that the staff represented the hero Yuanliu in their mage form. The next thing that was shown was the letter “SSS." For that image, the developer has revealed that they are creating a new grading system for ranked matches that incentivises players who perform significantly better with ranked stars, even if they lose the game.
The third image was something that looked like a dinosaur's foot, which is in line with Honor of Kings' next collaboration with Jurassic World. However, details regarding the collaboration still haven't been revealed. The final image that was explicitly shown was an image of a sword and shield. Fans, again, speculated that it was also for Yuanliu, but in their fighter form.
The hero Yuanliu, so far, has three forms that have been revealed in the Chinese version of Honor of Kings, which might be launched simultaneously on the global server. Although it wasn't explicitly revealed, a brief image of a bow and arrow was also shown, which could suggest that Yuanliu's marksman form may also be introduced to the global server.
The Honor of Kings Plus update will launch in the Summer of 2025, most likely when Season 11 rolls out.
