All Gamers Global will use the name Alpha Gaming for the Honor of Kings World Cup 2025 and will operate independently as a new entity.
Chinese esports organisation All Gamers and Honor of Kings Malaysia have announced that the team All Gamers Global from the MY Honor of Kings League (MKL) Spring 2025 will operate independently as a separate entity named Alpha Gaming for the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) 2025 at the Esports World Cup 2025.
While it wasn't explicitly stated, the change was apprently made in order to adhere to the Esports World Cup rules, which forbid two teams from the same organisation from competing in one esports title. Previously, All Gamers had already fielded AG Super Play from the Kings Pro League (KPL) 2025, which will start in the playoffs of the Honor of Kings World Cup 2025.
With the transition, AG Super Play has become eligible to gain Club Points in the Esports World Cup 2025 from the KWC 2025.
Alpha Gaming qualified for the KWC 2025 after finishing third in the MKL Spring 2025 after falling to eventual runners-up Black Shrew Esports in the lower bracket finals. Aside from Alpha Gaming, Black Shrew Esports and MKL Spring 2025 champion Nova Esports will be Malaysia's representatives in the KWC 2025.
Honor of Kings World Cup 2025 at the Esports World Cup will commence on 15 July 2025, with 18 teams participating. Two teams would start the tournament in the playoffs, bypassing the regular group stage. They are AG Super Play, which represents the KPL, and Talent Gaming, the winner of the Asia Champions League 2025.
