GosuGamers to host GCS Elite, a new PHP30,000 tournament for Mobile Legends and Honor of Kings

GosuGamers has announced GCS Elite, a new tournament circuit for Mobile Legends and Honor of Kings featuring the best teams from the Gosu Community Series.

GosuGamers, a leading global gaming and esports media platform, will be leveling up its Gosu Community Series (GCS) with the introduction of GCS Elite. GCS Elite is an upcoming tournament circuit that gathers the best teams in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Honor of Kings (HoK) from the Philippines to battle it out for the crown and their cut of the PHP30,000 prize pool.

Qualification for GCS Elite will be determined through a series of 5v5 tournaments, with the eight best teams earning a spot in the tournament. GCS Elite's inaugural edition will be exclusive to the Philippines.

GCS Elite will be professionally managed by GosuGamers’ league operations, marketing, and creative teams. It will be hosted online through GosuBattles, GosuGamers’ proprietary tournament platform. GosuBattles delivers a seamless and enjoyable competitive experience in MLBB and HoK, even to grassroots players.

GCS Elite format and schedule

The inaugural GCS Elite season is split into three stages: the Leaderboard, the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), and the GCS Elite tournament itself.

The season will kick off with the three-month Leaderboard stage from October to December 2025, where teams can participate in GCS 5v5 tournaments to earn Leaderboard points for advancement to the next stage. Only the Top 8 teams in each tournament can earn Leaderboard points. The Top 6 teams, based on total accumulated points at the end of the Leaderboard stage, will automatically qualify for GCS Elite.

The LCQ will then follow in January 2026, where the teams that missed out on a direct berth to GCS Elite through the Leaderboard stage will have a second chance to qualify for the tournament. The final two slots in GCS Elite will be up for grabs in the LCQ.

The GCS Elite tournament itself will follow shortly after the LCQ, featuring the Top 6 teams from the Leaderboard stage and the two winners of the LCQ. Those eight squads will then duke it out to claim the inaugural GCS Elite championship title, and the lion's share of the PHP30,000 prize pool.

If you want to join the battle in GCS Elite, registrations are already open over in GosuBattles.
