The Sanrio gang has returned to Honor of Kings, with themed skins for Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and more.
Honor of Kings has once again announced a collaboration with the Japanese franchise Sanrio, featuring skins and loading screen backgrounds inspired by its beloved characters. The partnership adds Sanrio's Cinnamoroll and Kuromi-inspired skins for Yaria and Angela, respectively. It will also add backgrounds that feature the two characters.
The Cinnamoroll-themed skin and background have been released as of 30 May, 2025, while the Kuromi-inspired in-game items will follow on 6 June, 2025. The list of items that have been announced so far is:
- Yaria Cinnamoroll Skin (Obtainable through time-limited lucky draw, starting from 30 May 2025)
- Cinnamoroll Background (Obtainable through time-limited lucky draw, starting from 30 May 2025)
- Angela Kuromi Skin (Obtainable through time-limited lucky draw, starting from 6 June 2025)
- Kuromi Background (Obtainable through time-limited lucky draw, starting from 6 June 2025)
Besides the Cinamoroll and Kuromi-inspired in-game items, the Hello Kitty skin line is also returning to Honor of Kings. Both Xiao Qiao and Arli's Hello Kitty skins can be obtained for a limited amount of time. Arli's skin can be obtained by purchasing it for 888 Tokens in the shop.
Players need to participate in the Hello Kitty Island event to acquire the Hello Kitty Xiao Qiao skin, which enables them to build their dream Hello Kitty Island Theme Park. The event plays out like the Monopoly board game, where players navigate the map, building and upgrading their theme park facilities to boost their coin income. Hello Kitty Xiao Qiao can be purchased with 12,000 Park Coins.
The partnership also brought in Sanrio characters' minion skins, but details regarding how to obtain them will come in a later date. The rumour mill suggests that the minion skin could be obtained from Point Draw, the same as B-duck's minion skins collaboration.
Team-up events featuring Everything Boxes, Double-star card, and Star-protection card will arrive at the same time as the collaboration starts too, being in sync with one of Hello Kitty Island Theme Park quests that have players party up with friends. The Sanrio collaboration begins on 30 May, 2025 and will last for two weeks.
