?The SEA HoN Tour might have combined the competition for the real South East Asian teams and the Thai teams, but the first cycle of G-League comes down to just two teams from Thailand. Turtle Master and Neolution eSports.MRR will meet in the Grand Finals for the title, money and the bragging rights in Thailand and the whole SEA region.
The Grand Finals for the first cycle in SEA HoN Tour and the highest division of G-League are determined - Neolution eSports.MRR earned the right to challenge the regular season champs of Turtle Master. Before the DreamHack Winter 2012 participant earned that right though, they had to edge out two of the best Malaysian teams in Brix and Orange eSports.
First u was Brix, who surprised a lot of people with their run to the postseason. They were an unknown entity before SEA HoN Tour started, now they are a force to be reckoned with. The match against Neolution eSports.MRR solidified that even further, as they demanded everything from the experienced Thai team. The whole three maps were needed, but in the end MRR reigned supreme and moved on to face Orange eSports for the ticket into Championship Sunday.
That match once again was a close call, as both teams saw eye-to-eye in terms of their skill, talent and experience, but once again Neo.MRR outlasted their opponents in a close and tight three map series, MRR drew first blood, jumping ahead to a 1-0 fairly quickly, ORGE retaliated and answered with a great second match, ultimately pushing the match to a third map and a Sand Wraith running wild on Orange eSports.
For Brix and Orange eSports the first cycle of SEA HoN Tour is finished with that, only Turtle Master and Neolution eSports.MRR will be the main attractions in the epic conclusion of the cycle tomorrow. Both squads have never met in a Grand Final before, but have seen plenty off each other in the playoffs of the old Thai HoN Tour. In those battles Turtle Master mostly got the better of those exchanges. The most recent match though was the split in the regular season of the G-League on opening day of the league.
A repeat of that result is technically impossible as one team will win tomorrow and gets crowned G-League Champion.
