The wait is finally over as the SoundBlaster Heroes League goes into the second season. The format has changed, more SEA teams will be a part of it and more and more epic matches will be featured as part of this massive $15,000 USD prize pool event.

The SoundBlaster Heroes League was one of the highlights last year with excitement surrounding the event from every angle. The qualifiers were intense, the invites gave the community room to predict and speculate and the Championship Brackets featured epic matches with teams like stayGreen, compLexity Gaming, Lions eSports, Orange eSports and Trademark eSports. In the end compLexity Gaming won the prestigious event, edging out the motivated and red-hot Lions in a close nail-biter finish.

Now the second season was announced with a $15,000 USD prize pool, a changed format and more contestants from the emerging South East Asian region. In a total of six qualifiers will be held over the course of the next six weeks with each qualifier granting two teams entry into the next stage. Four NA/EU qualifiers and two SEA qualifiers are scheduled with a total of eight teams from the dominant NA/EU region and four from the SEA region moving to the group stage.

That group stage is actually a new feature of the SoundBlaster Heroes League, as the last season only featured a massive Single Elimination bracket with the best 16 teams battling it out. Now all the teams that make it through the qualifiers will be seeded into two groups of six teams each. The best of these groups advancing into the next stage and are one step closer to the SBHL Season 2 title and a massive purse provided by SoundBlaster.

Not only the second and third stage has cool prizes, also the qualifiers will give away SoundBlaster headsets and other gear with an overall worth of an additional $5,000 USD. So all in all the second edition of the SBHL will boast an impressive prizepool of $20,000 USD and will provide additional action on the HoN calendar next to the HoN Tour Diamond Division and G-League.

The whole spectacle will kick off September 2nd with the first of six qualifiers and will come to a conclusion with the epic Grand Finals being scheduled for October 27th. Two months of massive HoN actions from all around the globe are awaiting HoN fans with the regular Diamond Division and G-League content and now the SoundBlaster Heroes League adding to the spectrum of HoN's tournament portfolio.
